The company backs writers and directors early, gives material the time it needs, and takes it to market with a producer who knows how films are sold. Founded in 2018, Reid Productions is run from Shropshire.

III. Executive Producer
Joey
Dawson
A producer who has run the company, raised the money and sold the film.
Joey runs the Reid Productions slate alongside his work as a Producer at the National Theatre, where since 2021 he has worked across digital content, performance capture and audience strategy.
The writers, directors and performers he backs are people he trained and came up alongside. Those relationships are the company’s real asset. They are also why he can tell early which talent is ready to carry something bigger.
He has hands-on film sales experience across theatrical, television and streaming. Commercial strategy shapes the slate from the first conversation.
Joey grew up in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Before founding Reid Productions, he spent six years leading a touring theatre company, raising the money, building the teams and putting the work in front of audiences across the country.
